Catholic Diocese of Greensburg, have celebrated the Catholic faith in Fayette County since 1852. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to embracing and spreading the Good news of Jesus Christ in our lives and in our community, with love and respect for one another. Through our Baptism and Confirmation, we accept a common mission-to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. In our faith, we will share our gifts and blessings through the sacraments and the various ministries and activities of the church.
We recognize the Eucharistic liturgy as the primary celebration of our faith and gather together as Jesus directed. We are nourished by the Word, the Blessed Sacrament, Prayer, Song and Each other as we continue on our journey of a lifetime to God?s kingdom.
We believe that together we are the body of Christ learning from the wisdom and strength of our elder members and growing by entrusting and teaching our faith to our youth. the young Church of today.
